The babyworld site provides the “one stop shop” solution for both men and women to find advice and support on topics from how to conceive, pregnancy, birth and parenting. The main focus of the site is for babies and children up to the age of 5.  The site also is an invaluable and independent source of information for any prospective parent or grandparent to be.

The babyworld site has been around for over 10 years and has a loyal membership, of which many visit the site regularly to share their pregnancy stories, their diary, pictures of children and of course their view points on every parenting issue on a daily basis.

The site has an active community, online antenatal classes, advice and an online shop that can provide the best baby equipment for you and your family.

Debbie has been the Editor for nearly 18 months now and knows how essential advice sites are to new parents.  “It can be a daunting experience becoming a parent for the first time, and we believe at babyworld that the best advice is from the people that have done it”.  “It is my aim to develop and improve the site over the next year, updating the advice and positively moving the site into the next decade”.

As a working mum herself, Debbie has two children aged 10 and 8, so she knows what it is like to manage working and raising a family.

Debbie entered our competition last year and was “Highly Commended” for the Remote Worker at Home category.  She showed that working remotely can be the perfect solution for any parents and that negotiating with her employer and proving that flexible working is really the way forward for today’s workforce.
